I built and acquired in technical industry. Now I help entrepreneurs who want to grow, hand over or finally regain control. With vision, trust and simplicity.
30+ years in technical industry. Three companies built and sold. Multiple acquisitions guided.
Started at Econosto, through Noton and Flowserve, until I chose entrepreneurship in 1999. HEROMA BV became the cradle for VCC Valves & Controls, ASE Repair BV and HEVASE BV. No business plan in spreadsheets. Just craftsmanship, a no-nonsense team and the conviction that technical industry deserves a different kind of partner.
In January 2024 I sold VCC and ASE Repair. Only then do you really learn what acquisitions are about: not about EBITDA, but about people, momentum and courage. I fell flat on my face and got back up. You can't buy that experience.
After 30+ years I know one thing for sure: most problems an entrepreneur faces are not technical problems. They are human problems. Leadership. Letting go. Succession. Growth.
That's where the real work is. And that's what I help with, through HEROMA BV. As a cheerful visionary, with a healthy dose of humour and a passion for progress.
"I was good to my people. Maybe even too good. Until I discovered that being good to people should never mean losing sight of the goal."

02 How I help
No standard advice. Just an honest conversation.
Three ways I help entrepreneurs move forward. One thing in common: it always starts with a conversation.
/01
Sparring partner
You have no one to think with. I do.
As an owner-entrepreneur you often stand alone. The big decisions, the team dynamics, the strategy. You don't just tell that to your employees or your accountant.
I am the sounding board you're missing. Someone who speaks the language of an entrepreneur, who knows what it feels like to doubt and push through, and who keeps you sharp without sparing you.
No consultancy report. Just a conversation that moves you forward.
Many entrepreneurs in engineering, transport and manufacturing feel it: retirement is approaching, energy isn't what it used to be, a successor hasn't been found yet. And still they keep postponing the conversation.
I have been through acquisitions. On both sides. I know what's involved: not just legally and financially, but also humanly. The soul of a company is only preserved if you think about it in time.
Technical know-how. Bold marketing. Ride the A-WAVE.
I've seen 30 years of great technical companies staying invisible. Too busy with the work. Too modest to show what they're worth.
A-WAVE is the answer to that problem.
Together with Ellen Verhoeven, digital growth expert with a track record at Kruidvat, Suzuki, VodafoneZiggo and Gasfedershop, I build marketing strategies that speak the language of industry. No generic agency speak. Just an approach that works.
For technical companies ready to grow in leads and customers.
Operations in order. Handover with clarity. FESMA makes it clear.
Growing or handing over starts with a solid foundation. Processes that work. Numbers that add up. An organisation ready for the next step.
FESMA is that foundation.
Together with Samuël Smit Ockeloen, expert in management operations and acquisitions, I bring structure where chaos threatens. From process optimisation to due diligence. From management reporting to preparing a successful exit.
For technical companies that want to grow with certainty, or prepare for a valuable handover.
